High On a Mountain Top

Saturday morning they raised the new Young Women value flags.

Young Women from the valley were invited to pull the ropes on the flags

The weather was cold and wet, but the rain held off during the ceremony

Elder Lundgreen, our fearless leader

We sang, "High On a Mountain Top, a banner is unfurled..." And the Young Women torch banner dropped!

As we recited the YW Theme, the banners dropped accordingly:
Faith
Divine Nature
Individual Worth
Knowledge
Choice and Accountability
Good Works
Integrity
Virtue
I cannot begin to describe the spirit that surrounded us on the mountain.  It was overpowering.
What an honor it is to serve in this sacred place...a place dedicated to our Heavenly Father, a place set apart from the world to enjoy his creations and escape the turmoil of the world.
The open house was held in the afternoon.  Young Women leaders were able to come, tour and learn about the camp as they prepare to bring their girls up in a few short weeks.
We were at the lake to greet visitors and tell them about the lake.  We are getting very excited to see the first groups of Young Women arrive!
