A Visit From The Kids

The end of July, Dayna and Robyn brought their families up for a Sunday evening.  We ate sloppy joes at the lake...

played a little volleyball...

played in the sandbox...
built a tower....

took a walk around the lake....

and saw a wild turkey.

Grandma told the grandkids about the cores in the trees,
and talked about how we keep our core strong.

Each of the kids got a core to take home.

Hallie practices her picture taking skills.

The guys played a little horseshoes.

The kids really couldn't get enough of the sandbox.

Some of the time, we just hung out.

Elder LeFevre came and took us all on a snipe hunt.

We all put p-nut butter on our fingers...

because we needed "bait".

Off into the woods we went.

"Here, snipey, snipey....

We caught a snipe!

We roasted s'mores...

and Claire wore them!

Claire and Remy ended the night back in the sandbox
in the big hole the kids dug.
Here is a video of the snipe hunt

We sure had a lot of fun sharing the mountain with our family.
